Peradon Excel-60 ¾ Jointed Snooker Cue

At 60", the Peradon Excel-60 ¾ Jointed Cue is a full 2" longer than a standard 58" full-size snooker cue, making it an ideal choice for taller players who need greater reach and a more natural playing position. Handcrafted in England by Peradon, this cue is built from carefully selected, kiln-dried North American Ash paired with genuine Ebony — a combination that reflects Peradon's long-standing commitment to quality and precision.

Craftsmanship

Each shaft is individually assessed for strength and straightness before the finest genuine Ebony butt timber is hand-spliced to produce the characteristic four-point round pattern that defines a true hand-spliced cue. The cue is then shaped gradually over time to achieve the final tapered profile, reducing stress on the timber throughout the process. Multiple stages of sanding and finishing follow, resulting in Peradon's signature silk-smooth surface.

The ¾ 'Quick Action' joint is precision-turned from a single piece of solid brass for both sections, eliminating the fit and finish issues associated with composite joints. It is positioned 16" from the butt end, giving a shaft length of 44". The butt is completed with a Peradon Excel-60 name disc and a 'Quick Action' butt end joint, which accepts optional extensions — these can be fitted at either the ¾ joint or the butt end joint. Please see the Cue extensions page for compatible options.

This cue is fitted with a solid brass ferrule and a 9½–10mm Elkmaster tip.

* The quality of the ash shaft is central to the performance of any cue. Peradon's shafts are subject to rigorous selection — only a small proportion of processed timber meets the required standard. To maintain these standards, Peradon purchase more ash than any other English cue maker. For hand-spliced cues of this calibre, the selection process is even more exacting.

* All dimensions are nominal.
