Britannia Taurus Traditional Snooker Cue

As part of the exceptional Britannia Traditional cue range, the Taurus cue stands out with its multiple hand splices of black ebony, sycamore veneers, and high-tech Diamond-Wood—a man-made exotic timber created by infusing resins and dyes with natural wood. These splices are expertly hand-applied over the finest, straight-grained, air-seasoned North American ash. Special attention is given to the grain pattern of this ash, ensuring that each shaft displays between 3 to 10 evenly shaped arrows on the same side as the butt flat.

The Britannia Traditional range features a robust 9.5 – 9.8 mm brass ferrule and a fully flanged, high-tensile, traditional brass threaded ¾ joint. This critical component is precisely machined from carbide for unmatched strength, durability, and consistent performance. The cues are also fitted with traditional chrome-tanned leather medium Grand tips that are compressed and pre-shaped for your convenience.

Each model in the Traditional range is finished with the iconic Britannia black enamelled Mother of Pearl disc badge.

The Britannia Traditional cues represent the pinnacle of snooker cue design and craftsmanship, utilizing only the highest quality materials throughout their construction.

An added feature of this range is the inclusion of a 6-inch weighted mini butt, provided free with your purchase. This mini butt can be inserted into the base of the cue, giving you an additional 6 inches (15 cm) of reach—an invaluable tool for avoiding overstretching on difficult shots. The mini butt can also be attached to the ¾ joint, allowing you to shorten the cue while maintaining a familiar grip. For even greater reach, the Britannia Telescopic Screw-in Extension is available, or for ultimate flexibility, consider the Britannia Mini Spacer.
